Our
Story
YieldWA was founded in 2017 by Darren Tapscott and a business partner to provide independent rural and remote regional real estate consultancy and transaction services to both government and private sectors.
Darren has a family farming background and has accumulated extensive expertise through his university qualifications and diverse career across multiple sectors of the agribusiness property market.
Darren has diverse real estate agency and valuation experience across Western Australia from Nannup in the south through to the Ord River Irrigation Area in the north, and all areas in between. Over the past 25 years, Darren has personally sold a range of large scale rural aggregations across the state, and has managed the marketing and sales of farming and pastoral properties worth in excess of $500m across the state.

Darren’s professional qualifications as a Licensed Valuer, Certified Practicing Valuer, and accredited real estate agent, combined with his strong industry networks, further enhance the depth and breadth of services YieldWA offers.

YieldWA combines hands-on experience with advanced commercial practices honed through exposure to international and national property service firms, small businesses, and large corporates, including major pastoral houses. Our expertise spans sales, consultancy (due diligence, feasibility, and advanced modelling), land access advice (for renewables, mining companies, and more), and in-depth analytics, including big data insights.
